This B.A.S.E.® Babywatching in School DVD is primarily aimed at elementary school teachers, headmasters and headmistresses, and other persons who are interested in implementing prevention programs in schools. But it may also be used to inform and interest new mothers and fathers (along with their babies).

The Info-DVD B.A.S.E.® Babywatching in School contains four films.

1. Film: Angergasse elementary school, Innsbruck (Austria)

This film starts with an interview of the head of educational psychologists (School Inspectors in Tirol/ Austria). Afterwards the actual procedure of B.A.S.E.® Babywatching in a school class, grade three, with a mother and her eight months old daughter is presented. Subsequent to the Babywatching, a mistress of school grade three and two of her pupils report on their experiences with B.A.S.E.® Babywatching. At the end of the film Karl Heinz Brisch gives a brief statement about the observations that were made with this prevention program.

2. Film: Kufstein-Zell elementary school (Austria)

This film starts with an interview with the headmaster of the school, who reports about their motivation to use this program. Subsequently the procedure of B.A.S.E.® Babywatching in a school class, grade one, with a mother and her 14 months old daughter is presented. Three interviews with teachers of integrated classes give varying impressions on the effects of B.A.S.E.®.

3.Film: James Krüss elementary school, Gilching (Germany)

This film also starts with an interview with the headmaster and continues with the procedure of B.A.S.E.® Babywatching in a school class, grade two, with a mother and her five months old son. Subsequently to the Babywatching the mistress reports on their experiences with B.A.S.E.® Babywatching and the influences on her pupils.

4. Film: Training as group leader film

The film « Training as group leader »  shows segments from a seminar session for B.A.S.E.® group leaders in Munich. The film focuses on translating theory into practice. In this case, we watch a father with his two little sons. Subsequently a mistress of an integrated class in an elementary school reports about her impression on the training for B.A.S.E.® group leaders.
